Established in 1898, Bresnan Butchers is a family-run business situated in the Douglas Village Shopping Centre. Their great grandfather, Michael Bresnan, initiated trading in the English Market in 1898. The business passed down to his son, Patrick, and later transitioned to Michael and Liam. Unfortunately, Michael passed away in 2022 after a brief illness. The Bresnan family holds the record for the longest unbroken presence in the English Market, spanning from 1898 to 2022.
